Dunedin Fish Market and Old Bay Cafe

  • Very small, charming restaurant with outdoor seating on the water overlooking the marina.
  • Limited indoor bar and counter-top seating overlooking the marina (~10 seats).
  • Can dock the boat at the public Dunedin docks and walk (it’s at the end of the dock).
  • $55 for 2 lunches, 2 drinks + tip

Recommendations:

Brandon had the Dunedin greens salad with a blue crab cake and I had the 4 oz grouper sandwich. Both were delicious! They do not serve any fried foods. I would probably try grouper tacos instead of the sandwich next time.

Dunedin Brewery

  • The best beer of any of the breweries we have visited (oldest microbrewery in Florida)
  • Large brewery with lots of seating
  • Food + drink
  • Live music on most nights

Recommendations:

All of the beers we tried were delicious- peach apricot ale, local honey lager, brown ale. Wings are amazing! Naked, seasoned wings with Thai bbq and snakebite sauces. Both were sooooo good.

Victoria Drive

Pretty street to walk along with beautiful homes, shaded by trees and runs along the water.

Notes

  • Bon Appetit: We got a cocktail at Bon Appetit (at the Dunedin public boat docks). It was good but had a 70s vibe and everyone there was over 75 years old. Place looked like it would be overpriced for the food. I wouldn’t dine here, but it’s decent to grab a drink if needed.
  • No one else was docked at the Dunedin public docks (basically at Bon Appetit).
  • Bon Appetit is connected to a Best Western and had bike rentals.
  • Dunedin Brewery is across the street from a big black/white condo that has a nature food market where you can buy some groceries and premade foods. Also had a cafe/deli with smoothies, sandwiches.
  • Josiah Cephas Park- has a dock but doesn’t look like you are supposed to dock your boat there. It is also really close to the Dunedin public docks, so it’s better to just use those.
